Bio:
For the longest time, all Byron wanted to do was be trusted. He went out of the way to make himself as helpful and non-threatening as he could to the majority of the Menagerie - and did a handful of morally dubious things in the process. And yet every attempt to ingratiate himself to the group ended in failure, leaving him generally mistrusted by most of the trolls in the camp. The only creature he could have considered a real friend was the Alarmatoad, Mercy - and there were times when he almost felt that she was something more. Then one night, just when he thought everything was all right, Mercy Fused herself away and left him alone again. The move was enough to push him into an Arsocrux, and when he strode back into the camp the next morning with a freshly-born Wingnut clutched close to his chest a sizable portion of the Menagerie expected some sort of vengeful retribution from the fully-evolved Byron.

Except...it didn't come. In fact, Byron seems to go out of his way to avoid most of the trolls around at any point. Whatever happened between the time he left the camp as a Pikorra and the time he returned as an Arsocrux snuffed out any remnant desire to be a trusted member of the group. And while he doesn't go out of his way to be particularly kind...he doesn't go out of his way to be particularly cruel, either. At this point, it seems like anything Wildy and co can do is watch.


Other Facts
-Cares for the Wingnut that was born of Rani and Mercy's Fusing as if she were his daughter, defending her against everyone she manages to piss off. Whatever name she calls herself in the moment, he always tends to call her "Missy."
-Byron doesn't mind that he isn't completely trusted anymore. It just means that he'll be left alone mostly...which means that he can focus on doing things his way.
